About Elm Dale

Elm Dale School was built in 1993 and is a part of the School District of Greenfield. The Elm Dale staff serves a student body of approximately 520 students.


The staff members of Elm Dale School, along with students, parents, and community members, work collaboratively to educate and further develop children's academics, creativity, and social, emotional, and behavioral realms. Staff and children work together as a team while growing as individuals to become lifelong learners and make a positive impact on the community.

Upcoming Events
  • Playground Update
    Great news! The new playground pieces were put in today!  The cement is drying and the wood chips are coming soon.  They playground will be ready for kids on September 1st.  We ask that the playground is not used till then so everything settles and is safe.  Thank you to The Optimist Club Volunteers, Lee Recreation, and PTO Volunteers for all the hard work!
  • Summer Updates

    Happy Summer!  

    Elm Dale is currently under construction.  We are updating our cafeteria, entrance, adding new cubbies, and upgrading our library and computer lab into an amazing learning commons!   

    Parents and guardians may stop in between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm on Monday, August 21st and pick up forms and information, pay student fees, and review your student's bus information.  

    The building will be ready for open house on Wednesday, August 30th from 4:00 pm till 7:00 pm.  Classroom visits, our annual PTO ice cream social, and more will happen at this event.  A post card will be mailed to each family with more details after the first week of August. Stay Safe and enjoy the summer.
